Shhhhhh!
And
the dog became silent, curled up its tail, and moved away!
The
Master could now move freely... He was in a disguise... the crowd
, too preoccupied, to even notice this 'beggar-like-aam-aadmi'...!!!
That
is how 'familiar thoughts' just flash, unnoticed, ... all the
more... when our attention span gets reduced, and we even gloat
about it “apun ke paas itna tame kahan hai?” (true, even that
'time' becomes 'tame' when we seem to time-things, with phrases like
'dead' lines, for our 'live-tasks'!...
Over
a period of time, these 'familiar thoughts' use the garb of a
'non-verbal' thought form... and it is only very occasionally, that
our mind sings... “woh kya hai....” at the sight of an
unfamiliar object around us!
To
'formally' complete the story now...
It
was Ulysses.. who was in exile, and his wife, hopeful that he would
return to her.. In the meanwhile his villain trying to exploit that
loyal lady... She 'feigned' agreement to concede to the villains
wishes, but with a proviso, to handle that bow-arrow, like a hero...
That
was when the disguised “Ulysses” made an entry, and only his dog,
not caught up into 'familiar thoughts' happened to spot his Master
despite the disguise!
(It
was an English Movie I saw, when a kid... don't even know the
name... dialogues were in 'phoren-English'... way beyond me!)
Familiarly
yours,

post-script:
Yes,
it is the very same 'diminishing attention span' that compels me into
brief blogs....
But,
it doesn't worry me... I am that street boy, who politely and
humbly beckons the pedestrians along that shop, with 'Madam/Sir,
please step in.. good designs, good fashion, in this shop...
please take a look... no purchase to chase even!'..
And
the rest is a Master's job... I am already over-paid for this
humble task, which is all I can do!
