She says... " no...no... 10 yrs old.... I took it out after a long time ....thats all! 😰"

Innocent looking piece of conversation... it ended abruptly, leaving no residue.

I was asked thus.
I too gave a similar reply. And it got-ended too.....similarly...

I kept wondering...
then, wandering .....

It must be the "lustre" of a clothing....that persuades an observer to ask "new___aaa?""

Otherwise, a few people just wash well, remove the dirt+dust...and that's it... the "newness" gets lost in a few washes.

I learnt how to restore that Lustre a "little" bit ....😔
The-mind, being en_grooved into spiritual bijness already (😜), doesn't allow me to rest at that...
It probes further....
Ancient saints & sanyasis used to wash their own clothes.....why? Disciples would cheerfully help!

Then it dawned...
We don't shed skin like a snake 🙄
Our dead skin is like "dust".... only when it gets 'wedged between the tresses of our hair...some other life form evolves into it using the scalp skin as an organic manure ....

Body skin, "can" get wedged between the weave of the clothing, and more so when salty sweat promotes "cling wrap" 🤣🤣🤣

Kaarmic body...... say the wise.
Obviously, skin is very much a part of that body, and ought to carry karmic residue in the pieces of microdust particles, getting wedged....
A baby implores..." mom is unavailable ( dead).... can I use her garment, its "comforting mom-fragrance"? to invoke my sleep....? ( a wise and sharp observer "listens" to this non-articulated gesture of the baby, digs out a used_garment of that departed mom.....the thing works👍🙏😜
( so....it  "suggests"....some karmic residue lingers....good or bad...whatever!)

Hand washing of clothes, is out_of_fashion.....
Intensive sales of fuzzy-logic in machines have defeated that inquisitive mind's  urge to relook, and gives way for comfort zones...

Lustre gives in to a duplicate ( a make up)...and we call it by a brand name " comfort"( an after wash solution for kostlee_clothes 😜)

That was about spiritual aspect of.....minimizing the carry-over of accumulated karmic garbage, washing clothes, before we learn to "wash our sins"😜😜🙏🙏🙏
