Basics, fundamentals, etc about
what is "intended to be taught" should be 'comprehensive' at early stages, and should be 'elaborate' at later stages.... ( for both....education & literacy)
Education is a must, for every human, whereas, literacy is by choice. ( ideally, a good education enables a student about "in which area/subject should I get literacy? "
Education in how to ....1 ) learn,2)stabilize emotions,3)deepenPerception,4)use discrimination 🙏
( example: matriculation subjects are COMPREHENSIVE, not elaborate....hence common for all...
Within engineering, 1st semester is common for all, not elaborate...
Later, .....higher level of literacy is elaborated selectively)
What about educating the basics of "life itself"????
Starts with parenting.....mom teaches in her womb as her classroom... dad joins when a baby gets acclimatized to its birth house, into a home.
School teacher can only "supplement" it further, if parents had_already given basic_inputs, not otherwise 🙏) .....
today, education itself is out-of-syllabus, basics-of-life is unknown to parents in a structured syllabi-format, schools ignore it 😜...
Then kids?
Every kid is more alert than usual, when teacher marks "important" portions/chapters/lessons for exam... kids grasp the whole_concept upside down. Marks decides, not learning 😜🙏
