Loneliness
Oldies feel it more.
Not that the youngsters are rid of it. Just that, they are yet to confront it, because there is something else to keep their minds busy.
I wondered “can my_Mind can invent problems” 😜…….
I tried “logic” in the exclusivity of my_emotions.
Why did we miss that loneliness while inside a toilet or bathroom? Oh! If I ‘know’ that there are three more waiting outside, to use that toilet after I come out, I can “feel” being pushed/jostled right inside the toilet, though alone and locked up!😓
A soldier keeping a watch at the border, alone, in a bunker, in pitch dark, doesn't feel lonely…. He knows, a whole platoon is waiting to hear him whisper into the walkie-talkies, if there is a firing from the other side. So? 🤔. That same soldier can create his_loneliness post retirement 😜…. It must be my_mind, failing to experience and extended_inclusiveness, while alone 😳, which “breeds” that loneliness 🙏😓
Desi ascetics confine themselves into a cave to practice meditation, for years, being all_alone!
Ancient Bharat had coined a phrase “vasudaiva Kutumbakam”( did they expect me to EXPERIENCE this phrase, which was to extend the universe into my_family?). Those ancients even managed to invoke the presence of ancestors, in a very subtle way, using powerful spiritual chants! Egyptian mummies were kept embalmed to keep_out that loneliness in living ones? Dunno!
Deep sleep insists that I miss EVEN my own presence, if I wish to restore my mind and body to their normal health each day😜 ( sleep is the only state, that OBVIATES company to keep loneliness away😜🙏)
Inclusiveness, seems to be the daily_dose of medicine, to be felt CONSCIOUSLY, especially during old age, to avoid loneliness. Otherwise ‘fighting’ loneliness while alone seems a vain attempt 😥
Inclusively yours,
