When movies came into our lives, kids took a natural liking to “emulate” the hero/heroine.  It never worked 😜.  But kids still choose 🙏😜

A joke:

Assuming that there is a God who grants boon to EVEN good peepals/people( I say this because, my Gods, as per documented history were very selective 😭. They granted boons only to villains 😜. He himself had to incarnate to rectify his repeated_follies over 4 long yugas! Dasavatara).....

The unlikely God( granting boon to ‘good’ fools) offers to all married couples “ You can acquire a Xerox/photo_copy of all the qualities of your spouse, which ever way—male to female or female to male, your mutual choice!”

Couples will find themselves confronting a need to face honesty, for the first time. Because, today's honesty is only about our mutual dishonesty 24/7😜. Any real honesty is purely coincidence 🙏.  “Which of us has better qualities and fewer bad qualities?”( Xerox copy, mind you!😜

Accessories are not a part of Original equipment 🙏. 

So, needless accessories are going to be a burden!( Honesty, sincerity, etc are “likely “ to be a burdensome accessory, if I am destined to be a clerk at certain offices like police, municipality, RTO, tax, court, registration….even politics 😓)

If I am going to choose qualities from Krishna or Rama, I prefer krish . He has magic, witchcraft, yoga, and all such supernatural powers as qualities 🙏… I can then, afford to_be a good_for_nothing like_fellow 😜 .   Emulating Rama is relatively better, easier and practicable because he was just a normal human, facing all kinds of tragedies, depending on all kinds of outsourcing etc🙏. That's the cost of being “Good” 😭

Realism:  we try to make a machine Emulate our intelligence ( A.I. technology 🙂) instead of emulating better humans among us 😜

Very unfortunately, spirituality doesn't allow copying in examination. 99% marks are same as 1% marks. Pass mark is only 100% 😓🙏.  So, emulating is not going to help. Use the experience of others, not their_intelligence. 

Paradox in spirituality is, I am unique till I do not attain. And after that, I don't exist, it's only we/Us.  Spirit doesn't need emulation. It is already complete in itself, awaiting to rediscover itself 🙏

Clarity in thoughts

 Clarity in thoughts 

That ‘half_way’ people….on their way to mental health home…. Probably, they serve as an example for lack of clarity.  It is not about confusion, muddle of incoherent thoughts etc. These are mere consequences of lack of clarity.

We often forget to look at ignorance of a kid of say 2 years old. Even that kid displays indecisive signs jumping from one toy to another, when given a dozen toys at a time 😜

Three job offers at a time. Enough to snatch away the ‘peace of mind'. That youth forgets the torture of ‘no job’ till then 😂, a different kind of ‘no peace of mind’. 

A buffalo well fed, looks utterly peaceful. Something very basic ! Only we humans ‘seek’ peace as if it is the Ultimate thing to achieve 😜

Spirituality starts only when a person is Atleast a bit peaceful 😂….   Reason is, we are trying to delve into something beyond our sensory levels of perception 🙏.  Whatever ‘little’ peace dawns due to the mega_efforts( by whatever name, but related to the spirit within) gets translated into a better utilisation of the very same sensory levels of perception 😂. Clarity is related to each level of our perception, using and transcending the sensory levels!

I heard a small story which was meant to teach me how to perceive deeper. But later I realised its impact on clarity too😓🙏

A, a fellow lost his camel in a vast sandy desert. He asked every passerby, and those whom he met during the search.

One fellow B, asked this A…

1)is your camel blind in one eye? (Yes!!!)

2)is your camel with 1 tooth missing (yes! Yes! Yes!)

3)was your camel laden with sugar bags on one side & wheat grains on the other?( Yes+yes+yes !!!👍👍 replies ‘A’)

B says now “sorry, I didn't see your camel”

A is furious now. Such accurate details, impossible without ‘seeing’ the camel, surely he is bluffing.

A got dragged to a chieftain ( quasi-judicial Judge as well 😜, in those days)

Judge asked for justification of knowing such_details, Without having seen the camel 🤔

B explained ( to escape beheading): Sir, the grass on one side of a path near the small pool in the desert remained untouched. Only a partially blind camel would leave fresh tender grass untouched! The bitten grass leaves had a pattern of protruding bit, and only a missing tooth allows that bit to escape a ‘bite’. Ants were gathering around one side of the path, for the strewn sugar granules that fell, and now I got curious about counter_balancing weight of the other side of its hump_back and noticed the inconspicuously hiding wheat grains blending with colour of brown sand.  I could “guess”/deduce…….only a camel that got away freedom from his master can leave such trails🙏

Story over!

Later, as an adult, I struggled to translate these skills of observation at my work place to ‘find out ‘ the culprit among thousands of ‘vouchers’ causing mismatch of balances among books of accounts 😓🙏🙏🙏. Normal ‘looking’ didn't work! Extra_vision was needed.

My experience:

Chanting incessantly “I am looking for a difference/error/mistake” was a huge hurdle to the very effort of ‘looking'. I should look for an error. But I can ‘see’/sight it only if I behold it to observe the subtle error, so as to perceive it with a sense of Discrimination used discretely with judiciousness!  Clarity is needed. A calm , silent, or atleast a blank mind is needed!

A tiny story of a “Judge”( demonstrating excercise of discretion judiciously, using sense of Discrimination, when sensory levels of eyes+ears did_not_offer that_CLARITY 😜😂)

2 moms claimed a baby to be theirs!

Judge is kaanfused(confused! No DNA test in those days 🙏😭).

Long drawn arguments, only Adding to the confusion.

Ultimately, that Judge, a lucky fellow to afford clarity, hit on an idea, and said : cut the baby into 2 halves, give each half to both each👍

One mom implored 😭🙏🙏🙏 : please do not cut the baby. Let the other lady have the baby 🙏( at least, my baby remains Alive!)

Judge: this lady is the true Mom ! She is ready to sacrifice her claim in favour of the baby's life🙏

Clarity guides Wisdom trying to make its journey into my pint_sized tiny brain🙏.

( I was asked to wear glasses at 13. Short sight. I kept cleaning the lens oftener than necessary to ensure “clarity” of vision. Decades later, I realised that, lens can give only sight, not vision or insight😓. Now, I use glasses only when needed, since I am a retired fellow 😂. Enjoying the clarity to some extent, having worked hard for it all along! This ‘clarity’ to my utter surprise, affords me “time management” a bit effortlessly 🤔😥. Let me not complicate this Co-relation of clarity with time_management, involving realignment of priorities in a real_time_basis🙏👍. Youngsters have Outsourced it to A.I. technology, of late! I am stuck inextricably in my O.I.---organic intellect….or original??? Dunno!😓… Whatever 🙏😥)

My experience works, so….why not ‘share’ it? ( Let my readers decide to read, try etc or dump, trash it)

Any “grounds” to justify? YEP 👍…. Whole of USA progressed significantly, atleast until 3 decades ago, Because, half of the senators patronised Objectivist_epistemology ( shaped by Ayn Rand, for easier grasp😜🙏).

Thoughts become words, then actions, and actions become destiny🙏

Our perceptions mirror back to us as our_thoughts!

Our present day ‘tendency’ of defensiveness, owing to declining trend in mutual trust, promotes subjective orientation in our thoughts.

Example: I recall a negative incident like, “I met with an accident and got my leg broke”... It's a fact. Subjective tendency hurries to add “Oh, that was because the other guy drove his car carelessly against me!”( May be a fact as_well🙏 …but how does it help to promote positive outlook in me????  Had I avoided this second thought of ‘blame game’ , I give birth to a Possibility of “what next can I do with my broken leg??”  Outside situation was NEVER in my control🙏 . But I always had a choice of what I can/should do about it👍😜🙏

Slowly, this Subjective tendency/habit/trait in me can be dissolved and that “default cursor” of my thought_process can be shifted to Objective oriented track/path/etc, while ‘retaining’ the fault-fixing/subjective thing as a potential_only, to be invoked very CONSCIOUSLY, as per need, like in a court_room, to prove that “I am not guilty”😜😜😜

“Why did you not attend my wedding?” I can give 100 very_valid reasons to that friend 👍

“Why did I attend (despite odds)?” Only 1 reason —-i wanted to make it, come what may👍

“Why did you have to walk 11 miles to reach a school in your kid days?”  I can blame my dad's poverty Or, I can say “I wanted to get literacy, so did my dad, despite our adverse situations”.

Every year floods in a river swept away homes and lives on its banks, 1000 years ago. Most “minds” chose to think “floods are the reason 🙏👍. Can't help”. One fool stood there DEFIANTly, and said “no use blaming floods. I will stop the water😡👍”. He gave birth to a possibility to conceive a river_dam!!! Maybe his great_grand-son only could complete it🙏. But he reversed the hierarchy of negativity about an “apparently insurmountable” task 😜

Why not spend a few milliSeconds, to look at our thoughts?

Why not try to Dissuade ourselves ( secretly, privately, quietly, clandestinely, inconspicuously, hideously, whatever 😓).. …from additions like ‘because’ ‘due to’ ‘since’ etc….unless we are facing a fact_finding_investigative_authority???? 

Did I take a Vow, like “I shall live and die as a stupid, my entire this_life_time?” ….or…do I strive to enjoy facing challenges provided by the outside situation to make my life into an “Action packed block-buster thriller movie”? 😂… ( A 3 hour movie, hero/heroine had a luxurious, effortless smooth life, birth to death. Where is the ‘story’ to make it a good movie??? Isn't it a MahaBoring movie? Thriller means, hero faces all possible extreme situation till 2 hrs & 55 minutes. Last 5 minutes, everything ok, Happy ending. If it is a tragic ending, more popular movie 😜. )

Subjective suffixes, to our thought process, in a desi way of looking, only cements our possibility of becoming a Bhoot_aatma ( after death, waiting for untying our knots for 100+ lifetimes more, or more 🙏😭)

Choice was mine! I chose objectivity! No regrets thus_far!

Heard of a squad who diffuse a bomb/explosive?

I watched them at work, in a movie.

They pronounce each TINY gesture as_they_do, like “now… iam gonna snap that blue wire and the yellow wire together “( a fellow listening to it in a van at a distance, is tense. Either a heave/sigh_of_relief “phew”, …..or a “boom”. Both the Audio recordings(phew or boom) serve as a “text book example for the next guy, staking his neck 🙏)

Do we speak at least within? Atleast a non-verbal thought about what we are going to do, in our Routine life???  Nah! 😡 ( We ain't not going to defuse any damn explosive ever …. then why the hell that “look before you leap” wala crap?😡)

Except the kids, who are FULLY taken care of, being a kid….all of us are in some kind of “situation” all our waking hours 🤣 

“Now….we have a SituaShun here” says a cop in USA on his walkie_talkie. And it alerts a head, with a headphone at the other end.  

Are we not “dealing” with “situations” all the time?

Wake up at the dawn ( situation: empty the bladder, clean the filthy mouth, satiate the stomach with hot coffee to isolate a download_situation in bowels 😜)

Reaching workplace on time, a situation.

Dealing with an ever_thirsty boss, a situation.

Buying groceries, a situation of an empty kitchen.

Picnicking, is a situation to diffuse the garbage of tension created by weeklong situations.

Any routine work we do, can be traced to a situation we had_to_deal 🙏😓 ( the doctor creates a situation, forcing open my eyelids, holding the GLARE of a powerful torchlight and says "guy_is_dead", if I don't respond to the situation defensively 😜🙏)

And then, our thoughts 😥 ( more of a ‘situation’ than a curiosity based one!)

“Health” care centers are fooling us, when ‘relief’ for a dis-Ease is all_they_provide, not a cure…. Health? Nothing to do with ‘health'.

Question is, “is it going to help us, mimicking that bomb_defuse expert, while dealing with situations?”( Yep 👍… we are gonna IMPROVISE in dealing with the next_bomb, which feigns like a chocolate all the time 😜)

My earliest memory of a “very bad handling of a situation” was when I was in my 4th class at school.

Situation: bell rang at school, and I had to get out of the premises ( peon waits to lock up the rooms, and then gates)

I failed to be as-alert as the guy in the bomb squad. Unaware, I was…. 

Result?...  My legs used its muscle memory and carried my body towards my previous rented_house. 100 metres later I jolted “oops! Wrong direction 🙏 😭. 

My parents have moved us to a newly rented place, in an opposite direction from school!😓”...  I walked back, those 100 metres, and now,  on a “productive” activity of my legs, means, right_direction.😜👍

“Why did you join this Program?” ( A column in the questionnaire to be filled by participants for a yoga program). I looked at it , like I looked at a_situation ! How to diffuse with a response that won't blow up my head? My peace of mind?  ‘Bah!’ I told myself, this time I am gonna remove all my ‘safety gadgets’ in my mind and am gonna be stark_naked in my reply🙏. Tired of this ‘defensive posturing’ all the time!

I wrote ‘the’ truth!( Whatever was true for_me 😜. It worked 🙏 😜)

What followed after the program cured me of my defect. Now, I enjoy diffusing situations in my routine, like that innocent kid does, when given a ‘new’ toy! That kid dismantles the toy, if the elder doesn't help. But I am not ignorant like the kid, anymore 🙏….  Response_abled/responsible.

Unawareness, is a situation too ( at least for me🙏). If I become fully aware, dat’s gonna be my ultimate liberation 🙏 . Therefore spirituality/अतः योगानुशासनम। (as Patanjali tolded/told in his first verse)

Test of stupidity

We have been electing only corrupt and criminal leaders to govern us🙏

Very consistently 👍( for decades)

We seldom respect honesty ( an honest employee struggles to survive in any government organisation, police department, tax office, judiciary, hospital etc. Even a barber struggles to survive with honesty.

Are we not stupid, when honesty proves to be a stupidity in our society?

Cosmic laws are never at the mercy of humans. These laws reward honesty flawlessly 😜. The popular name for cosmic laws is sanatan dharma. And therefore the adage, “dharmo rakhshati Rakshita”( too brief, for a stupid mind to comprehend its meaning 😜)

Test of stupidity: when/whenever the_situation becomes Extreme, stupidity gets thrown out First. ( Who ever wears the garment called stupidity, obviously gets thrown out along with the stupidity 🤣). The only infallible Yardstick of intellect ( absence of its opposite, called stupidity) is an extreme situation. 

Ram_Rajya was all about absence of stupidity among the PEOPLE of that society 🙏 

Kaliyuga is all about extreme intolerance towards intellect and utmost patronizing for stupidity. Democracy suits corrupt and criminals when people are mass_scale stupid 😜 

Highest human POSSIBILITY, called spirituality is pursued intensely when that individual is at the peak of? Stupidity or intelligence? I leave it to the readers to guess for themselves 🙏. Spirituality is 100% private & personal, and therefore a choice doesn't affect anyone else.

My limitations

 My limitations 

Any miniscule growth in me, is owing to my urge to find out my_limitations.

(Even a baby ‘deals’ with its own limitations all its waking hours, and there it stays intelligent till the temptations of ‘comfort zone” dawns into that kid's tiny brain. After that, the kid starts losing its I.Q. bit by bit 🙏)

I noticed that the most significant limitations hovers around my sensory levels of perception. All of them limit my perception. My growth pays the price. The ability to CHOOSE is the only key to break my limitations. The lock is my comfort zone.

My eyes reverse only the vertical part of the light entering my cornea. Not the horizontal light ! ( Probably why, my left hand and the left hand of the person facing me, seems on the opposite side 😜. Whereas I ‘perceive' both of us standing vertically only 😥😥😥…. So also, the blades of a fan seem rotating in anticlockwise direction while ‘facing’ it. If I view that fan standing behind it, sacrificing the breeze, I can CONFIRM that it is rotating clockwise.)

Mirrors are misunderstood by_me🙏.  It reversed all the 180° . It is my eye that failed to reverse the horizontal line left/right, while it reversed upside/down always 👍

Somehow, I got myself accustomed to the limitations of sensory levels of perception, while handling material aspects of life!  Gadgets supplemented and complemented the shortfalls. Ancients of Bharat improvised the skills of their own physiology, instead of dependency on gadgets.  Their perceptions managed to transcend the limitations with better intelligence 🙏.  

Today, I am CONSTRAINED to imitate the ancients, when I had to face the spiritual aspects of my life, and depend on their_way of transcending the ‘natural limitations’ of a human physiology 🙏

That is where the ‘mind_games’ started😜. A significant by_product in my experience of using ‘ancient technology’ for transcending limitations is….. my dependance on modern gadgets and technology is proportionately reduced! Insights are not too opaque, but blurred, and even_clear at times🙏.  

Ultimately, it is the limitations of “a mind” that needs to be transcended( whichever path, technology or gadgets). The second verse of sage Patanjali, further pinpoints the limitations of a mind 🙏

And, quantum physics applies to entire universe, not just earth! Om( or A_U_M) is the base of universe, and the only source code, to access our own SOURCE😜🙏

Tertiary sector

 Tertiary sector 

We have really very good experts to talk about “economics”

I am sure about myself that I ain't one of them.

But then, great economists miss the emotional aspects often, unless they are better in spirituality than their supremacy in economics 🙏.

The 3 basic sectors, we know, ( since it is we–human minds–who defined them, not nature, not the cosmos, or what we call as divinity ), are primary, secondary and tertiary.  Logic and reasoning are applicable in dealing with these 3.

Primary is almost governed by nature. Secondary is driven by necessity, whereas the tertiary is flexible enough to promote evolvement of human beings basically, and for which, we also look at the betterment of the first two. 

Spirituality enhances the emotions of inclusiveness in us and therefore, it can help the ‘health’ of tertiary sector better.  ( Historical evidence can convince us, that tertiary sector developed the least, wherever the inclusiveness could_not_thrive on its own, in human beings 🙏. Desert culture couldn't afford the growth of tertiary, for obvious reasons of survival priorities owing to lack of support from primary sector. The converse is not true. Abundance in the potential for the primary sector to grow, did not guarantee the proportionate growth of the secondary and tertiary, as we can see in the primitive humans cultures where the nature is bountiful in African wilderness). 

Bharat, as a culture has set a very high benchmark of something like 42% GDP a few centuries ago, and thus providing us an opportunity to understand the importance of functional aspects of these 3 sectors, with a decisive role of tertiary sector, though the desert proves logically that primary sector decides the growth of other two😜(Chanakya, was the economist, during this brief phase).  

Certain ‘values’ held in Bharat, is still a distant dream for other cultures 🙏. An example is, we define economic growth with a term “samruddhi” ( the phrase “all round prosperity“ comes closest to translate “samruddhi” in English 🙏). Economic prosperity has milder terms in desi lingua 😜( like sampann… “wealth & prosperity”, a little less than “all round”).  

It took me a long time to grasp the “subtle” correlation between two dissimilar fields of human activities, to understand the secret of using the Yardstick of “fine arts” for measuring the level of economic prosperity of a culture 😳😳….,😥😥😥…and then “🤔🤔” wondering about it.

The Yardstick is “wherever the 64 fine_arts thrive, we can call it a culture of Samruddhi” 🙏.  ( The explanation part, is too vast to contain into the confines of a blog like this🤣🙏)

Spiritual growth holds a magical wand. It can afford a samruddhi in exclusivity of the ‘number’ game of a populace, where even the ‘bulk’ of the society is trapped heavily in the vice_grip of materialistic temptations of a mind 🙏. Bharat is a land of spiritual destination. Obviously, this ‘miracle’ of exclusivity of samriddhi can happen only here. ( My question on a form “Yahoo answers” was based on this subtle concept. The brief part of the question ran like this: “What makes Indians flourish despite obstacles like corruption, brain drain, poverty and population crisis?”

A question seeking a spiritual sense in an answer addressing the lack of economic infrastructure needed for economic prosperity 🙏. ( Secret of exclusivity for inclusiveness 🙏)

Post script : Bharat is undergoing a ‘phenomenon’ presently, defying logic, when a spiritual person like Shri N.D.Modi, is spearheading as a PM, the task of Re-defining the tertiary sector of Bharat, using the ancient tools of spiritual Bharat 🙏 😜. He knows, spiritual growth is an integral part of tertiary sector, when Samruddhi is the goal, not merely economic-wealth.  ( Of course, I am entirely responsible for this statement, of mine)

I wish to remind ourselves about a fact, a ground reality, needing zero efforts to get convinced. 🙏

Fact: There are people who are EXCELLENT in  their teaching skills🙏

The institutions meant to produce excellent teachers for schools , ( awarding the coveted degree certificates like B.Ed, M.Ed etc) can…..if gracious enough, draw inspiration from this real_life example 🙏)

We see young and illiterate youth willingly blowing up themselves, in a crowd of innocent common civilians. 

Intense investigation over decades have CONFIRMED that these youth who become a suicide_volunteers are…..RADICALISED by experts 🙏.   Are these experts not excellent teachers, who prepare a “mind” for a supreme sacrifice?( Look at the skill, for a moment, keeping aside for a while ,the anti_human intent, purpose, goal, aim etc of these experts…🙏)

Can we produce such excellent teachers who can shape students in a school into “beautiful minds” ??? A tiny but a mighty_significant distinction can happen. Instead of sacrificing their life for a inhuman cause, the youth will DEDICATE the same life for a noble+everlasting, ever_evolving Human cause🙏
