Freedom for prana
The life energy called PRAANA , is like an electric current ( not an exact example).
Body, mind and intellect are distinct devices ( in order of subtlety too)
How energy is going to work, depends on which device is made_to_work.
Using electric energy, a grinder grinds, a processor processes, and a stove heats up with its coil glowing Redπ€£
If the mind manages to become a "boss" the body simply obliges the mind, overriding even its limited cellular intelligence and intellect sleeps blissfully π
Invariably, all the yoga-based acrobatics are directed towards taming the mind π ( and any-benefit accruing to the physiology is merely incidental.)
By chance, if a yogic practitioner manages to tame his mind, the intellect gets a "chance" to do it's work in an inversely proportional ratio π. Wisdom is inevitable when intellect has 100% freedom π₯π
Energetically yours,

In the ancient times in Bharat,
4 different types of people specialise in assessing the "pranic" power in the person consulting them ( quality services ππ)
1) family preceptor/guru
2) ayurvedic physician
3) family astrologer
4) if available, a naadi expert, a combo of astrology+physiology π

Very subtle blog to tell us how yoga can lead to wisdom if mind is no longer the boss which is too much influenced by the senses or outer world and carries prejudices leading to a particular mindset.
Saw your response on blog ....
" mind is no longer the boss which is too much influenced by the senses or outer world and carries prejudices leading to a particular mindset."
Attachment π
( Mind tends to be attached.)
A keen observation can convince us!
Mother's milk is absolutely a must for a baby.
We can't 'hope' to match the 'innocence' of a baby π . Baby is pure being π
Yet, after a 'little' growth, during the formative stages of that baby's Mind, few babies get "attached" to its mom's milk ( comfort zone π). In such cases, ( I saw, when I was a kid) an elderly lady( my grandmother, in my case) advised the mom "apply a smear of castor_oil. The baby will get disengaged from the 'habit' of stubbornness!"( my grandma's CHOICE of words were highly_educative, despite her 100% illiteracy π. I realised the depth of her words only when I transcended the 'youthful tendencies ' in my teenage π).
An example of 'how' ( a mind works) and how_to disengage_it gently!
