Spiritual crisis?

 Spiritual crisis

At once a paradoxical practicality.

The paradox is we never become aware of it, till we reach a point in our lives( lifetimes,  if believable to a reader) when, no other form of crisis can affect us emotionally 😜 ( require proof?  Search for “aapat-Sanyasam” which was available until at least 1½ centuries ago in Bharat).

At my workplace, 4 decades ago, a boss stupefied me by his dynamism! He was a whirlwind throughout his office hours!  ( my guess is, if he depended on somebody for help explicitly, it was me🙏…. I could easily remain ‘aware’ of his activities from 9 am to 6 pm daily, at office, for almost 2 plus years, so my ‘guess’ is an understatement🙏… I am certain). I asked him once “sir can we not prepare well ahead of few certainities atleast, before they happen?” ….  He said, “well psn…… as a race, we Indians are addicted to “crisis management” ….it is no more a choice! We deal with a situation only when it turns into a crisis”.  An unforgettable lesson for me 🙏.  I understood the corollary instantly! 😜…  a mind can never_allow_us to recognise spirituality as a ‘need, forget about its becoming a crisis! Crisis manages us, whether we are good at crisis-management or not!

I was an exception!  Right from my kid age, nothing else mattered to me, except some vague, abstract, seeking in me. Since I couldn't even verbalize it, I never could share it with my elders( in our kid-age, we  only tell our parents/elders, our desires! They grant or reject it, but we know that we ‘asked. I didn’t know what_to_ask! 🙏😭). It is  entirely a different matter that, there were quite a few who knew, I was thirsty for it, and their “timings” were flawless😜….

I keep trying to persuade those around me to buy something which, I know for certain, they aren't interested in, and will never be interested in. Obviously,  my MRP is zero! And bargains are in minuses 😜… i spend myself into them for free😜…  Harmlessness, is an indispensable pre-requisite, for those who are trying to market spirituality!
