Basics & fundamentals

 Quite similar looking terms, words. ( not as easy as difference between "achievement" & "accomplishment"😜)

The difference being too subtle, we pick an easy route. Treat both as same. Consequence is 'not my problem. ( some day, all our items of 'not mine' list will become "our problem". Later "our problems" become ìnevitable, irreparable,  un-solvable, etc, when mutual trust turns unreachable! 

We became oblivious to the "basics" of life! 

A new born baby actually reminds us of the neglected "basics". But, we are too busy to "observe" keenly and learn from a "fresh and new" life! 

Is not "interdependence" basic to life?

To maintain life, the fundamentals need to be strong. Premature babies are with weak fundamentals.... it may need additional-support ( incubator, protection from climate, from tough to digest intakes, from negative treatments if emotionally weak.... etc).

It is this "deeper" understanding of basics and fundamentals that enabled ancients to "transcend" even nature! 

Trust and love are "viewed" in exclusivity.  It is okay to use "love" as basic to bonding, since "trust" eludes a thorough grasp😂😜 ( can we mistrust somebody, and still love him? Vive-versa?)

Moksha, liberation is tough only due to our inability to understand and then also_accept the basics and fundamentals of life at the required_level🙏...  who within us has_to_understand? Body, which is dependent on mind and the being? ( "being", is too subtle for a mind to identify it! ). Mind is dependent on the "being". When our dependents 'enslave' us too much, where is the question of freedom?( moksha, liberation).  

Where do we start? ( if it makes 'sense' to live as-best-as possible?)

Why should I bother about basics and fundamentals? ( anyway, when these 2 start shaking badly, the "why" gets dissolved! Eternity can wait, longer than we can👍.... so, finish all our games and then say "and now....yoga"--- 1st line of Patanjali's book---.... Or, attend to basics, strengthen the "related fundamentals"  enjoy eternity throughout,  with a free_being....being_free internally +experientially 🙏... Choice is ours.  A drama artist can enjoy-plus-perform his role well only when he is aware-throughout, that it is only 'a role'. An artist "stuck" into his role misses retirement 😉. He refuses to "come out of that role". Misery is the only outcome, whether that "role" was a hero's, villain's, comedian's or anything! )

Did I get the fundamentals right, about the basics of our lives?

Insight

 An elusive concept.

Only when our normal sight starts fading, we try to think of 'accommodating' that in-sight.

Mind is like an overcrowded bus. We are already in a tight corner, at the mercy of people tightly pressing us 360° around us, and mind says, "why should I try to accommodate this new-passenger called insight? Stupid to squeeze further in, and say 'Mr insight, sit/here"' and offer him a strip of seat 3 inches wide, to park his bottom😜" 

Kids have insights, in a good working condition. They "learn" quickly, "this animating creature called mom, responds better, if I cry aloud"👍...  thus, we nurture a negative trait in that baby "keep crying, to get better attention in your life!"...  kids learn by example, not words, because their insight into words is too fragile. They are not M.A. in literature 😜

A fellow went to visit a lady, famous for charity! Very rich lady. Never refuses anything asked. He asked for "the" most precious thing she owned. A huge jewel. A precious shining stone. She gave it away, without hesitation ( that 'pause' absent). A few days later, he came back to her and said "please take it back.... and instead, give me that..... which made you donate such a precious stone so_effortlessly!!!" ( was he asking for her "insight" into spirituality?  Dunno!🙄😳)

Tools to deepen our insight? 

Obviously..... intelligence 🙏

How to access intelligence,  if our own intellect is not mention_worthy?

Get a fellow of proven intelligence,  to plant that damn thing called intelligence into us👍...  this gives birth to another problem. Trust!

Right now, we "use" trust very loosely . We tell a total stranger at a railway platform " I trust you 😊.  Keep an eye on my luggage, till I come back from the toilet in 2 minutes" ( even he knows, this "trust" is due to my bursting bladder, waiting to be emptied urgently😜)

Cellular intelligence?  

It behaves each moment, very unpredictable! The response to each type of intake----- through 5 sensory organs, each breath, each drink, each bite of food, evokes a very different response. Ancients thought, best "campus" to get trained into deepening our insight! Keep watching our inwards, by inducing a pattern of breath, muscular movements,  activating voluntary and later involuntary ones. mind gives up, trying to offer its prejudiced-preconclusions about what to expect from inside of our physiology. Slowly that_dexterity( of insight, unhindered by our over-crowded mind) spreads  while focusing onto our outside situation.  Hopefully,  our insight-into-outside deepens slowly😜

Not that insight is too uncommon. That humble fellow selling "curios" at a tourist site, has enough insight to know "how much he can cheat his customer?"! 👍. He learns from experience,  tourists never visit that site again. Nor can they "afford" to come back to quarrel with him😜. He can exploit overcharging his goods, sell substandard fakes etc!  The grocer in my street is not so_priviledged like that boy, fooling a tourist. Grocer depends solely on repeat_customers daily. He needs to guarantee even the stupid potato, looking good, but rotting inside😭. Divergent type of "insight".

Insight into concept-about-concepts?  

Worse than that is concept about 'spirits? ( the 'base' for SpiritUal concept? ( dunno!🙏😳)
