Love Death & Life ?

the question...
" True or not true?
Those who truly love life;aren't afraid to lose it.tell me why its true or not ... "
This question never fails to fascinate me...
So, once again I attempt to look at it..
Any feedback , after-thought, short falls, comments ?
Regards,
PSN
I quote the answer I gave....
TRUE ! A simple way to understand this would be to just say that a person who lives a contended life, has no expectations from it, and is therefore in a deep state of acceptance to also accept death cheerfully ! For the more inquisitive,......Once a person can experience life in its fullest dimension, he experiences everything around as a part of himself. He experiences the unlimited nature of his 'self' . For such a person there is no death. It looks like a contradiction, but the only way to understand this is through experience ! This person has experienced the true meaning of death.... it is the absence of life, like darkness is just absence of light and cold is just absence of heat etc... The fear of death can go only with the experience of what it is ! There are time-tested traditional practices to teach this. It can happen even casually, unexpectedly, unawares also to anyone who comes close to death like situation, and mind also ceases for a while, but rare and the experience might create more doubts than clarity , since it happened without preparation of mind, and sharing produces less support , being unique and rare, and less acceptable with a vast majority of scientific , logical people around

Having recognized and accepted the nature of existence, before one can deeply love life, the matter of fear must be addressed. It's one thing to embrace death as a natural and neccesary aspect of life, and not fearing it, and yet living life in fear, generated by or causing 'self' doubt, confusion and pain... wich is sadly how many identify their 'being'.
True, those who truly love and understand life are not afraid to loose it, but for those fear is not a guiding factor in waking life overall.

Dear friend
You mention that death is the absence of life, just like darkness is the absence of light etc.. Are you sure ?
I think that death means change from one form of life to a higher form of life, but not the absence of life.
When a little child is born he dies to the womb world and is born to a new world which is the physical world. This new world is in the same place but in another dimension. But as he dies to the womb world his life continues.

Dear 'anonymous',
We refer to death in reference to a body. The life is absent (that life may change form into a new body, but quits this particular body), and hence 'death'. Your own example of child in a womb also supports this opinion, of absence of life in the womb, as you rightly said "dies to the womb world..."
Thanks for response & regards,

Once when I had taken an overdose of medication, I slipped into something dark being briefly interrupted at regular intervals by some short tapping noise. I only hope death is nothing like that. That condition seemed hopeless!
