How I pick Good_things in a bad
That's the “standard” advice to wedded oldies who struggle to get along together 😥 “ why don't you think of good_things about your spouse?”

That which needs a conscious effort, fails, owing to age……
Bad habits are the default. Good ones need conscious efforts though ‘world’ call it good_habits.
With age, bad habit get the limelight like a scratch on a white paper/cloth 🙏😓)
Anyway,
I decided to look at things with_a_good mind👍👍👍
For instance, I look at my spouse displaying her anger at_me( bulk of it caused by situation_or_others) as “COURAGEOUSLY” done, red_faced😡😡😡.
I admire the “courage”🙏
This admirable of courage, paved way for my discovery of a great WISDOM in her 🙏
Wisdom is = she knows, it is SAFE to get angry with me 😜.
It's like this…..
I am destined to be born in a lineage of Traditional beggars…..
We were not gifted with an elaborate set of chants, ( highly scientific Mantras) to UNDO our wedding knots 😭🙏 Logic = wedding needs hectic chanting+ rituals for solemnisation🙏. Obviously, a simple chant cannot be enough to de_solemnise it.

Reaching a students mind
Parents of “today” are often kaanFused(confused) about “what's going on in my child's mind? 😧 🤔”
( That's not beCause that today's kid of 9 yrs is high_tech_complex. Our ears( kaan,) are fused to subtle listening 😜 ( mind's chatter)
Not that I ‘qualified’ myself ‘academically’ into a big psychiatrist 🙏. Sometimes a drowning guy happens to learn to stay afloat under constraints 😓. ( I volunteered for backup support of spiritual program for 6+ years. Insight into minds got bulldozed into me😭)

I knelt down on fours. Asked my brother's daughter ( in 2nd class, yet to hear that monstrous word “FRAC_SHUNS”, rhyming like fracture_de_bone) to climb on my back( piggy_ride).
Asked that blank_eyed kid : “who is bigger ? Me, or this girl riding my back?”
Student: you.
Me : is it not okay/proper for a smaller kid to sit on a larger_me?

Now, i asked my niece to kneel down on 4’s. I feigned ‘riding’ on her, taking care not to”park” my bottom on that tiny girl🙏 ( जान नहीं लेना चाहिए था 😓। No intention to snatch that innocent ‘life’). My sin : postulates related to the basics_of_life do creep in inevitably, owing to my focus on ‘sharing’ my personal experiences thus far in my life.
These postulates ( related to basic concepts) get strewn randomly in my blogs.
Consequence:
By its very nature, postulates ( lowest in the hierarchy of phenomenon, repititiousness, postulate, theory, concept and law) are bound to contain inconsistency in 🙏
Lack of remedy:
Constraints get imposed on the readers minds, deterring them from vocalising even the most stupid inconsistencies in my blabber 👍🙏🙏. ( Something i can only ‘wish’ as a charity unto me, to rectify myself 🙏😭).
A silver lining 😜 :
My only_consolation too… the readers’ minds get excercised, delving into a maze, which might have been infested with cobwebs, like our attic, which we neglect to visit for too long, owing to the priorities of present day fast_paced_life🙏… ( This is only an imagination of mine, i am painfully aware of it 😂. Is laziness in or by mind?
“I am a lazy person” ( of course, the mind said it 🙏)
Does it mean, that the mind_itself is lazy???
See, our simple understanding is lazy=avoiding action even when needed.
Mind, prescribed laziness, like a doctor who seldom eats what he prescribes 😜 ( reason may be, it suits mind to keep_busy😥🙏, otherwise it waits for us to sleep 😴, to keep the brain busy with incessant data_feed, called dreams).
Mind is the busiest, most active fellow with in me 🙏. Even when I sleep, it chatters. No court can compete with my_mind in delivering “Judgements” in milliseconds 😜. Even my meditaShun shuns me because mind REFUSES to sit-idle 😜😓.
A 2 month baby has “zero issues” with LAZINESS . We adults can't compete with that kid, in circling the arms & legs non-stop, all its waking hours. Our mind says ‘stop it’. Baby's mind is still in its formative stage, not yet like that ‘proverbial’ mother-in-law 😜🙏
So, let us get it right. Minds ailment is hyperactivity. The slaves of the mind end up into laziness, procrastination, refusal to allow intellect to function, etcetera 🙏

Accidentally selfless
Yep!
That's how I am able to classify myself when i slogged for some 11 months at my work place, and ended up clearing a backlog of 15 years of unreconciled inter-branch-transactions, reported to my branch by Head office ( reconciliation dept). I didn't bother about, nor was there any recognition for this task, though I got 99.99% of the thousands of them unreconciled for 1½ decades😜.
Now, I can ‘safely' disclose the source of fuel in me “where did the money go then?” Stock in trade is paisa, where I worked 🙏
Others couldn't manage a deeper focus, because it was a BORING job( search for a needle in a haystack and you will agree 😜)
For me, it didn't seem to qualify as a selfless act ( 11 months, average 10 hrs a day, is no joke🙏).
What's this “selflessness which the saintly guys advise”???
I used a bogus story.
I am (say) 10 years old. Hungry. I hold a slice of bread. I sight a kid of 2 years, more hungry than me, sitting on the footpath, looks like a beggar woman's kid. “Let him have it” i thought 🤔. The kid looked happy holding the bread greedily ( innocent greed,🙏). Suddenly a street dog snatched it from that 2 year beggar 😥. What do I do now? Anti-rabies injection, 14 doses around my stomach( 1960’s), not worth a risk for retrieving it from the dog. ( Is the dog selfish/greedy? Unlikely 🙏. The dog doesn't have ‘issues’ with ‘self awareness’ 😜. Only thereafter the koschan of selflessness for that 4 legged creature 🙏. It has an embedded software, designed for self_preservation and propagation of its species. No ‘ethics’ to itch the conscience like me😭).
This bogus story digged a few more thoughts in me 😳. Like, “can selflessness be a quality that can be ‘cultivated’ in exclusivity of other virtues? “ I had a similar ‘problem’ with humility 😥. Not an exclusive thing, but a consequential ‘label’.
A mosquito bites the little finger of my left palm. The forefinger of my right palm ‘rushes’ to scratch that little finger 😜. Ofcourse a ‘selfless’ act of my right forefinger 👍. ( Mind you, I am only narrating ‘what worked for me🙏’. The reader can dismiss it with a laugh 👍). Clue for me : inclusiveness. Both the fingers are a part of me🙏. Therefore, selflessly the scratching act of forefinger on the little finger 🤘. Anything that works for me is good enough 🙏, whether world/Google A.I. etc approves it or not 😂.
Highest levels of selflessness seems to be needed for the ‘blessings’ to ‘work’ . Oops! As per my_personal findings, inclusiveness is a_must, if I like to try the gimmicks of blessing somebody, or receiving it from the other, to translate into something ‘fruitful’.
A switch blesses a bulb to light up, only if the connectivity, energy and receptivity are in ‘working condition’ ( my personal experience only 🙏)

I didn't know so_much about Huzur_Sahib when I received अन्न दान at the langar there, after the closing time at 10 pm ..... in 1979 🙏
The place and I, both were strangers to each other. But the Guru resting there quietly had perhaps recognised me😂
The 'food'( simple roti & left over dal ) did a magic in me🙏 and the experience got engraved in my memory ( for a long time, my logical mind held it's influence saying "anything tastes awesome on a starved stomach 👍"...but decades later, as I evolved a bit more into spiritual bijness, the mystic aspect of the food i ate 'naturally' unraveled its secret. I felt blessed. Blessings are also selfless, from a Guru 😜, while we ordinary ones are content with joy in selflessness at mere physicality. Oh yes! By coincidence, that receptivity in me had a just_pass_marks during my visit, owing to the austerities I observed for a Sabarimala pilgrimage, a 41 days' vrat)

Disincentives among us
Yes.
Nature doesn't discriminate.
Our minds do 🤣
I had a boss, who was in-charge of some 25 people under him. He resisted strictness, harshness etc. Obviously, there have always been a few who take_advantage of any leniency 😜. Late coming for work went unpunished. Only a request “please be on time” after a dozen late arrivals. Slowly, even those who were punctual due to fear_of_punsihment yielded to the temptations of bold ones. That boss lamented to me, one day (I was the only fool who is much before time throughout my life😥), saying “I feel sad, my leniency gets punished by my own family(staff) 🙏”. I offered a solution “Sir, I will gift wrap a pencil and you present it to me, as a reward for my stupid punctuality, despite the absence of any risk for late_coming”. He didn't ‘give a damn’ to this suggestion 😜.( I didn't remind him that he routinely orders me to ‘man’ three counters till the latecomers arrive 😜. A disincentive gifted to me daily🙏😂)
Honesty, sincerity, punctuality, discipline, and such stupidities go unrecognised today.
There is a disincentive too at times 🤣.
A couple younger to me by ten years invited us for the wedding of their daughter. Being close relatives, it was customary to pack a load of cookies as a return gift, needing a week to eat it. The host found a dozen of large sets left over, when the oldies declined it saying “cholesterol, BP, sugar, diabetes, ulcer” etc . All were 60+ and the cookies were expensive (specially ordered with ghee etc, but ranking as ‘junk food’). The lady host, handing over 6 packs instead of 1 said “your hubby has no food restrictions, so you can(must) take these”. At home, I quipped, looking at the stockpile of 6 weeks “disincentive for being healthy” 🙏😭
( My humble guess is, spiritual bijness is the only arena where, positive traits get incentivised unerringly by nature/divinity/whatever 🙏. Inability to refrain from punishing goodness seems to have come to stay as ‘second nature’ in us😥)
No wonder, the ‘devil’ somewhere up there, is relaxing with joy, since we are doing his job unto each other 😂( moral stories are limited to kid_age pastime only).
Unfortunately, the design of human physiology is stubbornly resistant about adapting itself to negative qualities of mind 😭. Chronic ailments flourish proportional to negative traits 😓

Forget about the absence of a structure in the “design” of koschan_paper in my school, to find out if I grasped the ‘concept’ in the science subjects(by-heart fetches centum👍). But my classmates, whom I met 56 years later are irritated when I ask “do you remember the rectilinear propagation of light?” Only two of them said “seems like having heard of it somewhere 👍”. I had to compromise sharing the memories of only our stupidities at school, not the concepts we learnt. No marks for grasp of life Concepts either 😜🙏🙏🙏
Acceptance
“The body is unable to accept the medicine” declares a doctor, to the guys who volunteer to stand_by a patient.
This sentence is very naturally interpreted by the care_takers/standers_by as “Oh! So the chances of the patient's recovery is now bleak” 😓
It is not about ‘refusal’ often. Inability to accept, when a human body is choiceless about our choices of intake 🙏
Ancients managed to ‘tackle’ even_the unavailability of air to breath and food to eat, by evolving into sophisticated practices which can obviate the need to convert the 5 basic_elements in nature into a form which is acceptable by the design of a human body 🙏 (I was made to try one such spiritual practice, and the need to ‘eat’ food dropped dramatically). Thats "acceptance" at sophisticated and subtle levels.
What about the accept_Abiliity of our mind? We put up a verbal argument, whenever our inability to ‘accept' a verbal statement gets provoked 😜. When a ‘mind’ turns into its own enemy(peak levels of non_acceptance), others around start planning to ‘somehow’ hoodwink that owner of the mind to reach a mental health home 🤣.
Inclusiveness seems to be the key to expand our scope of acceptance 🙏
We have no difficulty in accepting_inclusion of our body as ‘ours’. A chronic and acute diabetic is able to accept a proposal to chop off a toe(amputation) so that the rest of the body can live a little longer🙏.
The mind resists to ‘ampute’ the negatives that deter the expansion of itself to ‘include’ more into itself! We see tragic instances of teenagers suddenly ending their life, when they are unable to ‘accept' a score that cannot get them an admission into a medical College, in the ‘NEET’ exam 😥🙏. They get very high scores, not just a ‘pass’ marks. It is about cut-off( amputation)!!! Probably, they fail to remember(recognise) the ‘basic’ truth that it is a competitive examination, not a qualifying examination 🙏. The criteria is ‘elimination’ among_the_qualified, and_not about ‘selection' or assessment for the qualification/qualified.
A joke:
At my workplace, me and my colleagues were approaching fifties. The lady engaged to prepare & serve us tea/coffee twice a day, needed to be reminded “without sugar”. My next seated colleague lamented “you are lucky, but I need to specify ‘without sugar’. I turned to that lady and announced ”without sugar henceforth, for me as well 👍”. Both, the lady & colleague stared at me in disbelief!!!! I enjoyed ‘good tea’ for the next few months, consistently👍. 🤣…. That colleague, over these months, started accepting the irritating few customers at his counter, quite unaware of his subtle transformation in his mind 😜😜😜( for me, very privately it was “operation success👍”. That colleague became relaxed. The inevitable consequence was, his irritants found no resistance to their irritability, and gradually dropped off their own irritation_emissions 🤣🤣
I felt overjoyed to come across a statement by a youth who “accepted” his friend's concept about ‘arguements/debates’ some 15 years later👍🙏. It might take even that long to uproot some of the stubbornities in us😜. He conceded (accepted) that an argument is not about convincing the other, but about finding out how strong we ourselves are about ourselves being convinced. This perspective is itself going to change the way we_argue😜🙏🙏🙏. “Pre-loaded” with utmost positivity in our arguments/debates 👍

If that “without sugar” wala joke is insipid, a sugared Fact 🙏: a sensible mom stays awake without any reason, alongside her child, cramming the syllabus for the whole night to prepare for an examination next day😂. That child ‘feels’ motivated to “accept” the Need to forego sleep that night, and focuses better on the syllabus, instead of chanting “I am cursed to keep awake, while all others in our family are Snoring blissfully 😭”.
Minds have always been argumentative. Social norms can only restrict the articulation on the outside. Within ourselves, the only constraint is ‘an eligibility criteria to get admitted into a mental health home’ 😜
Some arguments get ‘seeded’ positively. And when the seed sprouts after a decade or so, the flower is exquisite 🙏
A whole science was evolved into, for ensuring that the corollaries of any ‘healthy' debate/argument, is not missed 🙏 Tarka_shastra was the name!
I was ‘just’ lucky to have witnessed the fading_phase of the science of arguments, when i was a kid, and my mom's elder sister was admitted into a group_debate ( a ‘male’ dominated exercise in 1955 to 1960, among sanskrit scholars in a tiny remote village). They broke the rule, when they saw an illiterate lady(my aunt) outperformed them, within the stipulated parameters of the science, and won an argument 🙏. The same lady admitted defeat with me 20 years later, when i happened to argue very respectfully with her in the interpretation of ancient spiritual concepts (in my mixed mother_tongue😜. I stand zero chance in sanskrit against her, to even talk).
A beautiful message sprouted recently after 1½ decades of some arguments between two youngsters, when they were just around 25. Both were the academic ‘cream’ of our society, and hence equipped with the best available logical skills.
I quote just one sentence from their flowering of intellect 🙏
“I still remember the walk home when we were discussing religious conversions. I had a standard line at that time: "You can't convince me, I can't convince you." You stopped me and said something like, it isn't about convincing the other person, it's about convincing yourself how strongly you actually feel about your own argument. Precious piece of Wisdom!( Emotional equipoise, as a living experience, is the immediate flowering of a corollary to this conceptual grasp, of the purpose of an argument or debate🙏.. automated corollary. Other corollaries need conscious efforts to operationalize the intellect with a quiet mind 🙏)

Alternate nostril breathing
If mere survival is the criteria, it doesn't matter how we breathe🙏. It is automated by nature, as a part of the design called ‘human physiology’
The “problem” is…….
ancient guys of Bharat, decided to make the stupid ACT OF BREATHING into a very sophisticated technology, for a very crucial purpose —--taming the MIND 😥. A mind, when well tamed, in turn, serves a much more greater purpose 🙏…. Harnessing the vital enegy called ‘life’ which is ticking inside us ( I CONSCIOUSLY omit the next ‘level' of the next purpose 😜)
Somehow, I am pursuaded to try the stupid looking excercise of breathing through alternate nostril as a regular practice, each day for a fixed duration of time and at a fixed hour each day.
One nostril gets blocked 😜….on a day !
Sensible average people say “that's how things are today👍” summary disposal of the problem. No probing or investigation warranted.
I “saw” techies ( kampootar science) conversing in computer language 🤣. It takes time for an oldie like me, when computers came when my learning curve has flattened long ago along the baseline of the graph 😭

Spiritual cashback
A bogus idea, i concede 🙏 (no such thing, logically at least 😜)
Certain rituals compel me to ‘conjure’ very vague, unrealistic, improbable and unearthly ideas 🤣
That stupid looking ritual : soon after a death in my family, the priest ( master of ceremonies) would ask the ‘doer’( fellow who invokes the departed soul, which is supposed to be hovering around the place of death, trying to re-enter own body, being clueless about inaccessibility of the body. ) to offer water to quench the thirst of that soul, for some ten days. A piece of unstitched white cloth is wetted in potable water and squeezed anticlockwise , to drip the water onto a stone, into which the soul is invoked.
( I surmised: soul can sense the jalaTatwa, one of the 5 basic elements, from the substance called water 🙏)
Then, i deduced, (my cooked_up theory 😜), “a person who is very much alive, also ought to thank me from the depth of his ‘soul’ 🤣🙏”(no matter if his mind &/or body is busy otherwise 😳)! Beyond a point, the thirst of a parched_throat does reach the spirit/soul within, and therefore the traditional practices of offering water even to a total stranger at our doorstep!!!
I started offering water to any visitor at gate who ‘happens’ to waste/expend more than 120 precious seconds of his time with me😥. If & only if, there is a ‘cashback’ scheme in the nature's design, the silent + nonVerbal ‘thanks’ of any ‘x,y,or z’ gulping the water offered by me would automate the credit into my spiritual account, maintained somewhere upstairs by that figurative entity called karmaphaladata 😜.
I ain't any serious about the cashback. I feel amply rewarded with the thirst of that stranger getting quenched. It makes sense 🙏👍. A normal humane gesture. Costs me nothing!

A software firm paying illogically higher ‘package’ to its techies asked an employee “We don't know, what ELSE can hold you back from quitting the job, when you are paid a 15% hike, against 7% to your bosses!😳”( USA based firm, caught in the depression of 2009, truncated the annual hike from 30 to 7% that year).
He said “higher studies 🙏”.
( A typical example of mismatch of personal_values held by the two people, who were 100% honest about their own ‘premise/values’ which decided their respective responsive actions, with a reasonable degree of ethics and integrity 👍)
A great singer, in a movie story informs his well_wisher “i don't need your charity of food for my hunger, because I suffer only when my throat can't sing, not when my stomach feels hungry 🙏. Poverty doesn't matter to me!”( emotional values, unavailable for commercial logic😜)
A spiritual saint, who begs for his daily food, was banished from the village, just because he uttered a chant even while defecating. A true story of ”Shri Palani” (100+ years ago near Erode or so, a remote village). He stopped chanting with his vocal chords. But his personal ‘values’ of life happened to extend that_chant to his ‘body level’ as a vibe, within the ‘human_audibility_range’. Sitting under a tree in a desolate forest (next to the village, being ‘banished’), passers by heard that chant emanating from him, though he sat tight_lipped 😜 ( the story goes on to make him popular now, due to his SPIRITUAL BIJNESS/values).
The ‘normal' commercial_values held by we-the-modern guys needs no examples 🙏. Hormuz_strait decides our crude(oil)values for a war(since 2 months now)😥
My own values, I never had to ‘define’ consciously 😭… It came as an accessory with the original equipment, from the factory itself,😥. I can't modify it. Disastrous disadvantage to me! Very few manage to tolerate me within my radius. A silver lining is, a few unearthly guys never give up on me😜

" Receiver set" was the popular connotation to the valve-radio, i heard in my kid days.
It implied 'receptivity'.
1971, when I waded through the huge voluminous book in university library, to hunt for brahmamuhurtam and its significance etc( AadiShankara), i could appreciate the choice of timing for 'broadcasting' of energy waves 🙂
But the criteria for 'receptivity'( a radio receiver set 😜) was not mentioned conspicuously 😓.
It did not matter to me at_that_time, that I didn't know about becoming a receptacle in any verbal format.
The 'search' itself was inspired by a comment from a talk on "waves of beauty"( AadiShankara's composition), where in a mention about a few becoming receptive 'inadvertently' was made😜
The example cited was of a person who is unable to sleep due to severe pain lying in a hospital ( some ailment, injury, etc) and a truck driver driving for the whole night, to reach a deadline 😥.... Both these are very tired and 'need' sleep very badly. Both find sleep creeping into them during 4 to 6 am 🤣.
Wise truck driver takes a mini-nap, parking the truck on roadside. Others face the most accident-prone hours of the night 😂.
The patient may or may not get 'sleep', but finds some respite in his 'experience' of the 'pain' during that hour, even if the injury/ailment is same or worsening. 🙏
Both are 'forced' away from the 'resistance' in the mind/body due to fatigue ( a fatigued/injured soldier offers lesser resistance to the enemy😓).
In my case, I need to be consciously receptive, very healthy, alert, attentive and aware to experience the energy broadcasted even today by hidden yogis, who are also a "repeater-towers' in addition to their own addition of those energy waves 🙏.
Deities are also_consecrated to receive, magnify and re_broadcast these positive energies ( and therefore, the propitiation during these pre-dawn hours 🙏)
As I said, I try to make it simple to suit my own requirement 🙏. Empty myself at subtle levels, and become a receptacle 😜. An empty fellow offers no resistance to block any subtle energies granted as a free_boon, blessings 🙏

Communication, as far as global applicability is concerned, and is more or less acceptable by a general consensus, i CopyPaste here

We, the commoners of today's life, are justified in saying"words fail me, to describe my inner experience ".... Whereas, when we look at history, words prescribed to a person for chanting by a 'wise' being leads that person unto the highest human possibility 😜. How can we rule out the possibility that the desi ancients had harnessed the quantum concepts to the extent of communicating a spiritual experience using words itself 😜🙏🙏🙏
Consecration, jeeva samadhi, etc are non_verbal formats of communication of subtle energies 🙏
I cannot 'prove' an experience using words, to another person who is trying to use only the '7' in the ratio 7:38:55 to understand my experience or to even look_at_it as a possibility. And therefore, my inability to render a recipient capable enough to experience_and_only_thereafter accept, should not be misconstrued as holding back a 'secret'. 🙏

A very close friend, elder to me by age called to tell me about this temple and the uniqueness.
I tried to co-relate it with an episode in Mahabharata ( krishna eating a leftover bit of rice from Akshaya-vessel, not washed well that day😜🙏. Quantum laws, caused Sage Durvasa and his retinue simultaneously feeling well fed in a river during a dip in the water 😂)
I didn't imagine that "consecration" of a deity too happened in the same "principle of quantum physics 😳😥🤔"

Once i found a non-presumptous manager as my boss. He never got irritated by any value addition from a non_entity like me( a clerk is a नाचीज़/nonEntity)
I kept my staff-file handy and asked him “sir, where in my appointment order is it written that I_need_to_work? “
He stared. I stretched the paper in that file to read+spot it( copy of my appointment order)
“I am appointed as a clerk at ₹xxx per month…bla_bla_bla…. Where is the mention that I have to “work”???”
He pleaded “please tell me”
Then i pointed to the clause “bound by rules and agreement, time to time updated between the management & workmen “ ( the agreement elaborated my BOUNDEN duties/dharma 😜
His manager_dharma got updated 🙏
A funny incident: the class teacher of my son when he was in LKG, told her one evening (as my sister went to pick my son back home) : “Madam, i forgot my duty( Dharma). I was supposed to prepare at least one kid for a fancy dress competition in the evening today. There's one more hour time. Can you help”
Sister : 😳😳😳 at such short notice? I can try!
She pulled out my saffron dhoti, wrapped it around the kid asked him to chant a verse in Gita( he learnt it from my mom casually/playfully), holding a stick to look like Shankaracharya ( fancy dress costume, in a short cut). He chanted it smooth.
Sister, to my son : do it now before the microphone, looking up, the mike is taller than you… they may not tilt it to suit your height “
Kid nodded.
Just a “fill up the blanks” for that teacher.
But the judges were unanimous”first prize👍”( the kid had no idea what it_all_meant).
My sister to me : “thank God, i thought of a four_liner from gita, not the 1000 names of Vishnu 🙏😥. That kid keeps the trigger pressed till the magazine is emptied, whether i give him a pistol or a sten_gun !”

A story i heard from my dad.
Centuries ago, when Christianity had just_invaded the shorees of Kerala….
An orthodox Namboothiri and a devout Father(a priest) grew up together as very close friends. Their religion never stood between their friendship ( unlike the ‘forced conversion’ tactics etc of today😓)
Both were aged, when the Namboothiri once got afflicted by a swelling in his legs. All kinds of native treatments failed to at least arrest the swelling .
During a routine walk along the banks of a river near their dwellings, the Namboothiri asked his friend “hey friend….you also happen to know a bit of Ayurveda, isn't it? Can you suggest a remedy for this leg_swelling? Unable to walk comfortably with you_even, my dearest friend 😥”
Father : “ well, there's indeed a medicine, but it won't suit you, a strict vegetarian by religion 🙏😓”
Namboori : “okay, tell me what it is?”
Father : medicated fat of a snake
Namboori: Shiva_Shiva!! Can't think of it 😳
Father: i told you, you won't agree to it 👍
Namboori: well, if not medicine, let me try my ‘faith’... Daily sandhyavandan in this river, standing waist_deep in water flow!
A few months later, the ailment got cured 😜
Namboori: see! My prayers worked. I am better now!
Father: Good 🙏… can we take a walk upstream, for a little distance, now that you are better and can walk easier?
Namboori: of course…let's walk👍
About a kilometre ahead, the father stopped.
Father, pointing to a huge pair of rock in the river : “friend, do you see the carcass of a huge python that got wedged between the rocks, and the water flowing over its partly decayed body?”
Namboori: i do see….what about it?
Father, smiling : the water contained the fat of that snake. You sipped thrice each time, each rituals for days, daily. I had suggested just a spoonful. But you consumed a larger dose, unawares 🙏. It seems to have worked 👍

“Vataapi jeerno bhava( Mr vataapi, may you get digested)”... a dialogue from a puranic story.
A rishi was fed a goat_flesh, deceptively by the other twin brother of a rakshasa pair. The first one turns himself into a goat. The other makes a meal from the flesh of this ‘goat’ and feeds to passers_by in the forest. Soon after the Brahmin eats ( non_veg…please Note🙏), the living fellow calls out ‘vataapi, come out’. Then they both feast on the dead victim! A boon, that the pair got “death will be simultaneously only”. This rishi transcends the misused boon by using own spiritual powers,🙏.
Shraadha ceremony in ancient days, the designated representative of the invoked_soul was fed meat+liquor ( as per stories). When the capacity to recover from the negatives of eating meat, drinking liquor deteriorated, the meat got replaced by ulud_vada, and liquor by honey🙏
I inferred from the above ( i may be wrong 🙏, but my guess-work…. works for me😜) : The entire Edifice of what is misconstrued as Hinduism today, is actually scientific. What is misconstrued as rigid_orthodoxy today, was actually a scientific concept, aimed for refining oneself for a specific purpose 🙏.
I read in “Readers’ Digest” during 1960’s….neuroSurgeons abstain from “coffee” a week ahead of a brain_surgery, to ensure a steady pair of hands👍. I took this clue and tried to ‘look' for a scientific reason behind those ‘seemingly stupid orthodoxic eccentricities’ . ( I coined a sentence for my personal use : any kind of self_refinement necessarily envisages some_kind of self imposed restriction 🙏…. Over years, this verbal form has turned into an instinctive non_verbal response within me 😜🙏).
My own gradual increase in sensitivity beyond sensory levels of perception happened to open the floodgates of insight into the ‘subtle' spiritual bijness/practices 😜🙏🙏🙏. I am constrained only_by the possible limited receptivity of the other, in sharing my experience 🙏
