Emotional blackmail

Readers are not going to ask me “what's that?”
Yet, many are going to ‘wish’ they never have_to yield to it. ( I cannot escape the wrath of those few who are ‘gifted’ with the skill of using it like a brahmaAstra, an infallible weapon of epic story times π)
Somehow, a ‘manufacturing defect’ crept into meπ. I don't yield to emotional blackmail π. Another manufacturing defect which can be ‘safely’ tested+verified on me is : I don't succumb to a physical ‘tickling’ under my armpits π ( only during my school days, I discovered this ‘defect’ in me). I don't know of any remedy/cure/defense against a formidable tickle by others, physically. But, I know that if someone desires to transcend the susceptibility to emotional blackmail, there's a way out. π
We heard a saying “if you sighted a lightening, you have escaped from being struck by it”
I guess the same goes for emotional blackmail π. If you can sense it, you can_have a ‘choice’ to escape itπ. Only that we need to work upon ourselves a little. Our emotional ‘weaknesses’ are the conduit for an emotional blackmail to strike us( not when emotions are our_strength π). The peak levels of emotional strength is when our ‘inclusiveness’ affords us a ‘living experience’ of the ancient phrase ‘VasudaivaKutumbakam’ ππ
Since I am also aware that most of us find “yielding to an emotional blackmail” as an excuse to justify our own emotional weaknesses, it is not going to be palatable to elaborate on even the ‘basics’ of overcoming eitherπ
I just thought of reminding ourselves of the threat from within our own people π
