Apologies ( for the icon of laughter 🙏)

But, I found myself trying to “keep my mind EMPTY” as much as possible 🙏😭

( Damn thing seems to work)

Oh yes! The ‘true’ sense of it( mindfulness) is a noble goal👍🙏.  “Trying to be mind-ful” of what our mind is doing with us, most of the time 👍 A very good thing🙏

Only that, our desi ancients “dealt” with the minding_the_mind in a different way 😓. They researched with greater intensity and discovered what_works_better! I merely copypasted their experience, instead of re-inventing the wheel ( technology) afresh🙏. Meditation is all about “mindfulness! Problem is, meditation strives to keep it empty, not full 😜

Whatever”occupies” our mind most, becomes the ‘leader’ of our life!

I want to lead a “good” life👍

Here starts the problem 😜 

I try to plan the design for a good life!

Today, money seems to”decide” a good life. Money invites a ”security“ , quite obviously 🙏. Chasing of money+security becomes a consequence. 

Now, the consequence Occupies our mind all the time 😜.

Whole life, we chase money & its security. Everything else, including relationship, becomes “relative” to it. Aged dad & mom being no more of use for my primary goal( money & security) become a burden😓. I compromise, spending bare minimum to keep the security alive( society might disturb my_security, if I TOTALLY abandon those two rotten vegetables 🙂. So, oldage home.

Promotion is a sub_goal. For that….I need to slog! Slogging feels burdensome. If security ( goodwill, is a security) is manageable, I bribe, I appease to get promoted, escaping from the slogging.

The sense of security constricts our inclusiveness. Kids try to copy only ‘what appears to Work’ for their parents . We perpetuate our_goals  plus the chase_technology👍( inadvertently though).

Defensiveness is a consequence of our chase for security. 

Just try the consequences to become the goal, and the goal might become the consequence.

Nature can give us a realistic & practicable example.

Do we nurture it because of nuts or does it yield nuts only_because We_nurture it? Which is the consequence? 

A doctor loves to save lives. Money becomes an Unavoidable consequence. People Develop trust and repeat visits! ( Whereas, money as a goal breeds corruption in that doctors mind🙏. Money occupies the mind as a primary goal, and no “space” to focus on diagnosis 😜. ill fame, disrepute, mistrust guaranteed 🙏👍).

Spiritual pursuit as a goal, compels us to drop off whatever seems a hurdle in its way.😭. As a consequence, chase and the tension related to chasing after material comfort, tools and gadgets accrues by itself, if the situation warrants, and therefore, the efforts are barest minimal , namely survival. All the other life forms chase material things only_for_survival. 

We look at “peace” as a goal, and it's consequences engaged us in an endless chase! If peace is viewed as a consequence, we discover that peace was already in us as a basic nature👍. Our chase disturbed the peace. A baby or a bull, both are utterly peaceful if well_fed😜. A money chaser despite a full stomach, faces indigestion 😜.

Once a mind gets “filled” with “good life, comfort, security etc” as a goal, the chase becomes an irreversible consequence 🙏. Struggle of chasing this goal becomes a full time job.  Coconut tree is assured of a “good, comfortable & secured life” without any need to chase these🤣. It simply complies with nature's design of yielding nuts. If no human is around to nourish it, that tree yields lesser nuts. But still it is peaceful, comfortable and secure, as per nature's plan accordingly 🙏

A very “typical” and easily_verifiable example is Mr N.D.Modi 🙏. His goal of life (as per his own words) is “Life for others, not for himself”( dedicating one's own life, selflessly…..is a consequence of this goal). He “got” money as an earned income, ONLY after he became a combo of MLA+CM.  politics chased him. PM’s post chased him. Z_category security, free housing, high class food, 24/7 exclusive medical attention etc are all CONSEQUENTIAL perks😜. Bulk of all other politicians struggle endlessly to ensure, retain these perks. Modi's secret eludes their grasp. Bulk of his words are Without Any Politics 😜. No other politician was targeted Ever_before, like he is, today🤣.  His_goal is not easy to be copypasted 🙏. ( It didn't matter to him that he was unnoticed for first 4 decades of his life. He yielded very few nuts, till 40 or so, in terms of “serving others”. Voters accidentally nourished him. He yields nuts in “billions of tons—-worldwide😥🙏🙏🙏”.
