Why Gurus seem secretive?

 Why Gurus seem secretive?

There is a popular short story in Malayalam.

Four blind men try to feel "how an elephant is?"

Their description:

First one holding the tail describes what he 'touched'

Second one touches the leg and says "elephant is like a pillar of 1 feet diameter

Third one described it holding the trunk "a very thick but  tapering flexible hanging branch"

Fourth one it's underbelly "a curved ceiling, heavy "

None of them reached the actual"elephant " ๐Ÿคฃ

Spiritual practices are like the elephant (beyond reach of a Single practitioner, experiencing it like one blind fellow ๐Ÿคฃ . ) Even the "combined" description of all the 4 blind is not going to 'reach' the accuracy ๐Ÿ˜œ.

There have been"rishis" who spent their whole life, in perfecting JUST_1_yogaAasana, like VajraAasana๐Ÿ™.

Wise Gurus, seldom indulge into pegging the mind of their students into their own limited experience of doing a practice ๐Ÿ™

( I have learnt this concept, the Hard_way....๐Ÿ™.

The most sophisticated type of KapalBhaathi yielded unexpected response from a spectrum of birds, when I touched 3000 repetitions per session, steadily incrementing the number over 11 months, starting with 25 times๐Ÿ™. I discovered that birds could sense the "frequency " of energy waves emitted during the practice ๐Ÿ˜œ. My stunted 'idea' of 'sound' tore open its shell of limited understanding ๐Ÿ™. I also realised that, the same practice 'holds' many more mysteries, unthinkable for me to reach/unravel, during this lifetime ๐Ÿคฃ.)

Discretely yours,
