 Emotional pragmatism 

For a bench mark of excellence in emotional pragmatism, I can think of 2 great beings.

Krish , dealing with Arjuna in the epic story of Mahabharat, with his advice in Gita( Gitopadesh)

Jesus : He did a greater level of setting a benchmark in his own crucifixion and the famous pardoning words “they know not…” 🙏

Logical pragmatism is more conspicuous in its absence in digital technology 😜. The ‘rate’ of bugs is disproportionate to the evolution of technology itself in growth 😭🙏🙏🙏

Medicos ‘need’ logical pragmatism very routinely, when they decide on anesthesia, and its level of local-or-general.

Negative emotions obstructing logical pragmatism is in a situation like( easy example), when a mom shrieks to a small kid when she suddenly notices the kid on a precarious tall branch of a tree and shouts “Don't fall 😥 😱” ( the kid WONDERS ….  “How? Not-to-fall?” And loses focus on own safety 🙏.  A pragmatic dialogue would be “hold firmly to the branch 👍”( easy logic).

Spiritual pragmatism is not going to be easy to even ‘discuss’ 😥…   Most of the enlightened guys face uncertainty of their communicative skills in deploying their spiritual pragmatism while thinking of being useful to others ( But for Swami Vivekanand, we would have missed Shri Ramakrishna paramahamsa).  I faced the ‘problem' while yielding to my urge to ‘do my very best’ to innocent freshers who used to visit a designated place where I was volunteering for backup support of spiritual practices 🙏. All they( visitors) need to do is to voice their innermost emotional conflicts which  hinders their subtle practices like meditation 😓. I need spiritual pragmatism in a customized way of suggesting ‘how to deal ‘ 😥🙏….   

Emotional pragmatism is needed in every non_commercial relationship 🙏.  Equipoise of own emotions is indispensable, in my experience.  

Negativity blocks all kinds of pragmatic approaches 🤣.

The distinction between vaideekam and loukeekam defined by ancient Rishis is a huge evidence of their mastery of pragmatism of all kinds 🙏( something that a fellow like can only envy😜).
