Avoiding arguments

 Avoiding arguments

Peace is sought today only thus 😜.

The tragedy is, this tendency to ‘avoid’ argument with ‘others’, takes us far_away from peace than the open_argument itself 😜

Who benefits?

1)more ‘business’ for psychiatrist.

2) Easier marketing for fake products/ideas/ideology/misinterpreted-toolkits …. ( “who are you to tell me what I should do???😑” —type of attitude)

Side effects?

1). Mental pressure ( unresolved conflicting information, thoughts, etc within. )

2). Decline of ‘sense of Discrimination’ ( like an iron getting rusted due to dis-use 😜.)

3). Vulnerability of being exploited due to dis_abled discriminatory sense 😜

4) shrinking scope for parenting 😭

Peace?

I had a hearty laugh ( silently within πŸ™), when a teacher spelt it out so_clearly in a spiritual program i attended during 1992 πŸ™‚. He said “ today, peace is the most sought after thing, as if it is the ULTIMATE goal of life. Whereas, peace is the most basic thing, only then something else is possible for a human” ( He gave simple examples like “an animal is utterly peaceful, when well fed! Whereas, our peace is seldom about our basic needs like food, shelter and clothing”).

A human mind cannot avoid ‘arguments’. The very nature of thought process is to judge. 🀣. Every thought is a conclusion of some kind πŸ™, a judgement (please test_check it πŸ˜“). And, we know….a court cannot ‘function’ at all if ‘arguments’ are dis_allowed🀣. A ‘healthy' argument is termed as a debate, discussion, exchange of ideas etc .

I felt persuaded to write this blog simply because, I bumped into a beautiful idea from a youngster “ argument should be to test oneself about how firm we are in our own opinion?” ( The words, if i were to acknowledge ‘credits’ of copyright was “about

convincing yourself how strongly you actually feel

about your own argument.”).  This attitude helps us to keep all the negativities about arguments awayπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ‘.   Not as_easy_as it sounds 😜. Ancient guys of Bharat evolved a whole science to make it healthy and edible. TharkaShastra ΰ€€ΰ€°्ΰ€• ΰ€Άाΰ€Έ्ΰ€€्ΰ€°…. Unfortunately, the designers of syllabus in our modern educational institutions seem averse to including this in the curriculum. Only ‘logic’ makes a passing reference. “Real + genuine” scientists evolve into ETHICAL arguments, though only within the confines of their area of scientific exploration, not necessarily as their_own personal quality 😜.

Spiritual bijness, I noticed from my own personal experience, to be nurturing and nourishing the ability to be honest_in_arguments, as an incidental byproduct πŸ™. The main product being expansion of our inclusiveness 😜.

Instead of bluntly saying “do not argue with fools”, Manusmriti coined it into a verse ( chapter 2, verse 110). It translates roughly as ( CopyPaste from Google search)

Quote

“Manusmriti Chapter 2, Verse 110 states that one should not give unsolicited instruction or answer improper questions, and a wise person should act like a dull or simple person in society even when they know the truth”. UnQuote

( Very rare to find a ‘response' in WhatsApp to the tons of CopyPaste we dump😜.  My blogs, I am used to the feel of ‘speaking to a Wall’ 🀣).

Argumentably yours, psn(28 Aug, 2026)
